ok, so some people have said the antenna issue could have something to do with location, i remember reading a post here where a guy said he could replicate the issue at home but not at his work, this made me think of the microcell, can anyone replicate issue while using the microcell, i think this will determine if its location

People have tried using the Microcell to determine if that solves the problem - it didn't!
 
I don't lose signal with my iPhone 4 connected to the microcell. I have 5 bars all the time regardless whether it's on my right or left hand. No dropped calls either.

If held the wrong way, it will drop in my house and I have a microcell.
