Anti-glare film for MB Aluminum

hey all

i noticed apple selling this antiglare film for late-08 macbooks. has anyone tried this (or something similar)?
given the "shiny-ness" of the late-08 MB screens, how much would this help?

I'd imagine that they're using the same material that they use for the iPhone screen protectors. Those work wonders.
