Anti Virus, Anti Trojan?

I am slightly concerned with my Data being stolen or my computer hacked. So i am wondering what do any of you use to make sure your mac is secure. I know they are safe but i also know that leaving it open is unwise.

And idea's

just make sure your firewall is on. System Preferences> Security > Firewall. Select "Set Access for specific services and applications"
This is not on by default
