Anticipated price breakdown of iPhone 6 models?

Ok so just to make sure I have this right as far as how much the iPhone 6 models will be priced...

On subsidy pricing, the pre-order on the Apple site will probably be like this right?...

So I would need about 560$ to get the 128GB 5.5 on upgrade? I record a lot of video so the size is welcome.

Are there expected to be four different storage sizes by any chance?

Do you guys think they will still keep entry at 16 just to get people to get the bigger size?

Nobody knows. They could go 16/32/64, 16/32/64/128, 16/64/128, 32/64, 32/64/128...

In any case, you should have enough time between announcement and release to figure it out. There's no point at the moment, as it's all speculation on pricing. Apple may even bump all the prices up.

Wouldn't you agree that an educated guess can be extrapolated from the evaluation of current market conditions, the cross checking of rumors, and from the analysis of historical pattens?

I would agree that it would be nothing more that a guess...and I cannot see the purpose of guessing, extrapolated from past data or not.

But that's just me...I don't see the point.

Well even an educated guess is still a guess.

But a simple 50/50 guess is much less useful compared to someone who has kept up with all the rumors and can make an educated guess that there is a 90% chance the prices will be one way or another.

That already becomes useful information, and yes, I do actually see a point. That knowledge would be useful to me in particular because I just got a large chunk of money lately and want to know how much to save and have ready in the next few weeks based on what happens.

So if I know that most likely 560$ will probably cover it I can put that on a Apple gift card or something so that way it will go through faster on pre-order day.

Im sure a gift card transaction goes through a split second faster than visa and ill gladly take any edge I can get in the pre-order race.

I doubt there will be four sizes right? Thats unprecedented. They are also saying 32GB is notably absent.

Its pretty obvious its gonna go from 16/32/64 to 16/64/128 and will be positioned from a sales perspective as simply getting more when you pay more.

To make it really worthwhile to the masses who always buy entry to go to 64 and get that extra hundred dollars from more people by providing big value in the middle range. If they went 32 GB entry (which many passive users still don't technically NEED in the iCloud storage/streaming era), from a business standpoint that would just set people up to NEVER get the middle size and would lose like 100$ per the average person who might need more than 16 but never more than 32 which is the biggest average group of people.

Its pretty obvious its not gonna be four models and its obvious now that it starts at 16.

Can we safely say the chart in the OP is dead on?

Having said that, there have been rumours that Apple will increase the prices, and we still don't know the difference between the 4.7" and 5.5".

It could be that it starts at $199 as usual, though it could go up to $249. The 5.5" May command a $50, $100, or even $150 premium - though we'll all know come September 9th.

Well I think we can deduce that because the competition is all at around the 199$ price point or much less.

Galaxy S5 = 199$
Note 3 = 229$

I don't think they will release a phone that is not competitive with their closest competitors. They have never changed the price. Why would they? It would be damaging to business.

Many brand new 16GB iPhone 5Ss go for only 99$ right now at many outlets.

You really think theres a chance we will see a 16GB 4.7 for 299$? lol.

EDIT: I guess the 5.5 could potentially be 249$ not 299$
