Hello all!

I am buying a new unibody macbook pro, and not that I am worried of it getting a virus or spyware :)apple: ftw! :D), I always like to be on the safe side of things.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good anti-virus/anti-spyware software for the mac?

Thanks!

There are a number of active discussions about this already
Use MRoogle to find them

Bottom line, you don't need any anti virus or spyware software on the Mac
There are no viruses and any anti virus software will bloat and clog your system

Trojans on the other hand are a different story
They require you to activate and enter your administrator's password
Just be careful and know what you are downloading
Use common sense

If you share files with PC users, you can use ClamXav to scan your files for their protection
