Hi,

I've just installed an antivirus and now can't access some websites.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to maintain security, but still be able to access websites?

Thanks

Yep, drop the antivirus, it isn't needed at all... period

Others will be along soon to overwhelm you with reasons why, but trust me
Just drop the AV and you will be fine

Thanks for your reply.

Can you please give me examples of what apps are? .... or are you just saying I don't need an antivirus sofware?

I have read that you don't need antivirus, but I've also read that you should get it. Now I've got it (and it wasn't a free antivirus), so I want to work out how to get around the obstacle I originally posted about.

If you want to arm yourself with facts instead of opionions, read the linked post. If you don't, that's up to you. If you're determined to keep your antivirus and it's causing you problems, I can't help with that.
