ANyone come across any 3rd-party cases that utilize the magnets in the ipad to turn on/off the screen upon opening/closing the cover?

Smart cover simply doesn't suit my needs..i need a case, not a cover.

nope, you can use an ipad 1 case with a shell and put a magnet in the cover!
