It actually doesn't work on Catalina 10.15.5. (Yes, I did grant permission through privacy settings).
Any valid alternative?

-edit: [SOLVED] move the app to the Applications folder.

Wow is this true? Can anybody else confirm 10.15.5 broke turbo boost switcher? Is that what all that about kernel permissions was about in the update? That’s a real bummer if so. I’m still on 10.15.3. Is this another reason not to update?

So the developer of the software is lying when he says it works on 10.15.5?

I didn't say that.
Since it doesn't work for me and I followed the developer's instructions I supposed it was a problem related to the last update. Anyway it is worth noticing that I first try to run it on 10.15.5, so maybe that is the problem. If this is the case... Yeah it doesn't work. It just keeps asking for password. At least the free version...

It seems to work if you installed it before updating.

You should be fine. As other users who installed it before updating seem to get along well. Also developer states it is compatible.

It does not work for me too. Installed it for the first time on Catalina 15.5.5. Any suggestion how to fix it? Will the paid version helps?

I purchased the pro version right now. Fresh install on 10.15.5 (never had it before) and works just fine.
*I did have to restart the computer for it to work. In pro version you only have to enter the password once so maybe that's why the free version is throwing issues.

I wouldn’t mind paying for it but just want to be sure it is working fine before paying. I just emailed the developer for advice. Hope he can offer some advice. I will update here when he replies.

Thanks. I'm interested too. I always posted a comment on the developer site, but it didn't even get published.

I don't want to convince anybody but like I said mine is a fresh purchase.
Also when you got to the pro page you can read that it is supported on Catalina as well as Big Sur which means that the dev updated the thread within last week or so.
Temp drop on my 16" is significant so I know it works lol.

I am still waiting for a reply from the developer. Not sure how responsive is the customer support.
