About 2 months ago I checked to see if there was any way to downgrade to 4.0.1 or to Jailbreak the 4.0.2... but there were no solutions.

Now, That I see that there is a 4.1, I was wondering if the 4.0.2 has been tamed :D

thanks!

No and the general consensus is that it never will be.

No jailbreak for 4.02 or 4.1. 4.02 will probably never be jailbroken. 4.1 probably will be, but no news on when.

Not entirely true. No jailbreak for 4.1 on an iPhone 4 (and possibly 3GS depending on the bootrom?) but for the 3G and older iPod touches redsn0w has been updated for 4.1

But, if we're talking about the iPhone 4, then yes, you are totally correct.

Indeed, 3Gs with old bootrom can be jailbroken

Right or wrong, I guess I'm at the point that anyone asking about an iPhone probably has a newer model (3GS or 4), unless specifically stated.
