I have an iPad1 and an iMac with OS X Maveriks that I sync to. My digital copy movies that I supposedly can "download" to my computer can only be watched with apps I find that need iOS 6.0 or newer. Any help with this? Everything I've looked at is not working. I can't even get the digital copies (which play in iTunes on my computer) to get onto my iPad. It says they are in the wrong format!! Shouldn't a digital copy that is iTunes compatible be able to work on my iPad with no problem!!?> I am at my wits end. HELP!

So, you have problems with trying to play back Apple DRM'ed videos in third-party video players? It'll never work, under any iOS version.

I'll later check the iOS5.x-compliance of DRM. Last time I checked there were no problems with it at all.
