Any AT&T Business/Premier upgraders ?

This is my 1st "upgrade" so I apologize for the newbie question.

AT&T Premier says the following

I just received my iPhone. How do I activate it?
To activate your new phone, go to www.wireless.att.com/businesscenter/activations, enter your order number and activation number, and then click Continue. Follow the onscreen instructions. It may take up to 6 hours for the activation to complete. You'll receive an email confirming that your phone is ready to use when the process is complete.


Why so complicate d?

Others say they just turn on their phone when it comes and it wil lead you through activation.

Any tips ? Which way to go ?

You can activate it on the phone itself, or through iTunes. The procedure you got was just a cookie cutter response for all phones ordered through Premiere.
 
There is also a website link for activation and an activation phone number. If those don't work then you get in touch w a cs from the activation number and he will activate it for you. Happened to me spent 40 mins on the line
