Any benefit for FileVault2 with hardware encrypted SSD

I would like to buy an SSD for my MacBook Pro
Some SSD (like Crucial MX200) support hardware AES-256, IEEE-1667... hardware encryption
Some are not (example: SanDisk Extreme Pro)

Is the extra hardware encrypt support can help File Vault 2?
