We have an 09 8 Core Mac Pro at work that is fitted with 24gigs of ram, it has the underpowered GT120 in it currently. The computer is basically a jack of all trades as it handles light photoshop, after effects, media composer, final cut, pro tools work.
We have a spare GT120 in the back we ripped from another 09 mac pro we upgrade to a 5770, is it worth tossing that in and hanging one monitor off each card or will it not speed anything up?
