I went to three best buy stores today. I asked about price matching on Rmbp with apple and bby 150 dollars gift card.

My two local best buys in Maryland were freaked out about the price matching and refused to do so. They said I have to pay full price for 2199 dollars and they will give me 150 dollars gift card. That is like a worst promo I have ever heard in this forum...

My local best buys are jerks.

Anyone who went to best buy in maryland got 200 dollars off on their mbp and 150 dollars gift card?

Please share your stores, so I can go there. These best buys are like worst buys.

The $150 gift card promo is over. Now you need to register on bestbuy.com/Studentdeals and that's how you get $100 off on the Mac. That is the standard best buy offer for students.

Some stores will match the $100 iTunes gift card with a Best Buy gift card as well.

You might run into a manager that's cool and gives you $200 off the Mac, but it might take some arguing.

Annapolis was ready to, but didn't have any in stock. The girl in Annapolis checked online and saw Owings Mills had one in stock, called them on the phone, then put me on so I could pay with my credit card to hold it. Once I got to Owings Mills they were giving me the $200 off but didn't want to match the $100 ITunes gift card. After a little persistence and asking them to check online they finally gave me a $100 Best Buy gift card along with the $200 off. It looks like the sku for the gift card is 2953989. Good luck!
