any Book users with auto restart prob?

I like to have my iBook G4 800Mhz on when ever I leave the house for hrs or for a snap (anything longer than 90 mins)

And every time I come back I notice that the book is at the start up page asking me for username and password ( that is my start up setting style)

But I can make the difference btw, did it restart or did it log out completly.

All the windows get lost and I have to remember what I was doing.

I do surfing, chatting and itunes only

no porn and anything that causes hacks, spams or whatever thing usually crashes a bill gates.

Check your Energy Saves pane in your System Preferences. Go to the Schedule tab. If either of the two checkboxes have a checkmark in them, remove it. <-- Sometimes people configure their Macs to shut down at certain times of the day, or on certain days of the week.

Since I have no school at the moment until sept. I have my ibook on 24/7 and I have it at presentation mode.

Never shut down monitor and Never put the computer asleep whenever inactive But put HD to sleep when possible

nothing on the schedule section and nothing similar in the account section

Try searching Apple's support section or forums to see if someone else has experienced the same problem. If you're not sure what to type in for a search, use one set of terms, then try others.

Confirming first: Update to the latest version of Panther (currently 10.3.4 if you haven't done so already)...If you can't find anything there that is of any help, and nobody here can share similar experiences with advice, then post your question at www.thetechpub.com/phpBB2/ for more technical advice.
