It seems like all the case makers are just updating descriptions for their 7 and 7+ cases and calling it a day when it comes to 8 and 8+, but maybe I'm missing something, has anyone seen any new cases in the new shade of gold? I'll just get something practical and non-flashy for now, but I really do like that new gold, and it'd be nice to be able to have a case in that color, I'm not a fan of clear cases because of the yellowing.

I've been looking for cases in the new gold too. No luck. As you said, everyone is just updating their descriptions to include the 8 and leaving it at that.
They have "Gold", "Rose Gold" and this new "Copper Gold" which I assume is what they're calling the iPhone 8 gold. This is the first new gold case I've seen. Won't be out for a few weeks though. I've got the Rose Gold version of it and it was a good match, so hopefully this one will be too (and is probably the reason for the delay).
