Any chance a new Airport Extreme is coming?

Obviously nobody knows what Apple is up to and when they would release one. I'm thinking about getting an 11ac router, and would like to get an Airport. Maybe even a time capsule.

Is there any recent "must have" router feature that other high end routers have that the 11ac Airport Extreme is missing? I could wait a couple months to see if Apple releases something new if there is some great feature it is missing.

My guess is nope. Too new of a product..Some update software to the AE, but nothing new for a good while.

Agree with ABC5S, not very likely.

There are more advanced routers out now with the newer AC1900 features, but at this point there are zero client devices that support that standard. So until Apple comes out with AC1900 client devices, I don't think they will release a router update.
