One thing I HATE about my Bluetooth Mighty Mouse is the way it slows down and stutters badly whenever I have a file downloading. I subscribe to many podcasts and at any one time I may have one downloading in the background. That is over WiFi. Is there not a separate transceiver for Bluetooth? Any chance this new mouse will operate smoothly even when you have something downloading?

Probably the same. I have a Microsoft mouse (not Bluetooth) and even when running Vista in Boot Camp it studders during heavy WiFi activity. I went back to using the wired version of the keyboard and mouse but will probably be suffering again as soon as I can get my hands on the new Magic Mouse. Hopefully there's an update that will fix this since all the new iMacs will be wireless now.

It's due to the interference between bluetooth and 802.11b/g

Use 802.11n will solve this problem.

Have you considered setting up your network on 802.11N instead of G?

Might eliminate the interference you're seeing on the 2.4ghz band.

I imagine that would break my iPhone connectivity to my network.

True, unless you ran either a dual band, or two full networks.

I have an Airport Extreme running in N only, that the MBA connects to, and a POS Dynex router for my iPhone and the roommate's virus ridden Dell.
