Any chance of future ipad models with built in dvd player?

Yeah never gonna happen haha. Apple is definitely focused on digital media and the cloud. We might be lucky to even see Blu-Ray on a MBP in our lifetime haha
Hmmm, let's consider this for a second: iTunes, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon movie streaming (others?)
I think anyone at Apple who even suggests this as more than a joke should be fired instantly. It's a passed over technology that will go the way of VHS within the next couple of years.

Not to mention that the DVD drive would be thicker than the iPad itself! Did you even see how thin iPad 2 is?
There is precisely a 0% chance of this. You'll be lucky to buy an Apple *laptop* with a built in DVD drive next year...
Blu-ray will definitely make it to the iPad. Probably iPad 3.
It makes total sense right? The lack of Blu-ray on the Mac, the thinness of the iPad, the move to digital sales? All in preparation for Blu-ray.
