Is there any chance that Apple will release a MacBook Pro without a Touch Bar but with Touch ID. Especially in the 15" form factor. I've had my 15" MBP with Touch Bar for a year now and I'm finding the touch bar more and more inconvenient. It simply doesn't work for my usage. I continue to find it annoying to have to look at my keyboard to invoke basic functions. On the other hand Touch ID has been fantastic. Especially with apps like 1Password. Just an amazing convenience.

Might be more likely that they'd go straight to faceID?

That's a good point. Definitely a good user scenario for computers given you're always looking at the screen. Still I can't wait till we have a non touch bar option for the 15" with either Touch ID or Face ID.
