any chance to mbp 13 to get updated in the october event

I am planing to buy a MPB 13 soon... i heared that there is an apple event in october... is that true???
and is there any chance that the 13 will get some updates, like matte screen????

AFAIK, apple has not officially stated any plans for an october event. Seems unlikely since there was a September event.

I also think the odds are even more remote that we'd see any sort of refresh to the MBP line. Maybe (really stretching it here) the 13" white Macbook may see some love soon, but not the MBP line. That was just updated.

I think the next thing on apple's list is the iMac and mini. Based on what apple has been telling its resellers, (no more iMac shipments) they're clearing out the channel for a refresh of that line. The iMac is more over due to see an update then the MBP.

MBP no, but MacBook needs an overhaul and so do Mini and iMac. Only time will show us...
