Any changes to Status bar ?

with the redesigned punch hole instead of a notch, does anything change in the status bar. Will IOS 16 use the extra space to fit in any new icons or battery percentage ?

It seems exactly the same from what I've seen. It could be different on the 14 (Pro).

Nothing was ever announced by Apple with respect to a hole punch display. If it does happen, any used space in the status bar will likely come along with the hardware.
