Hi,

So I just got hit hard with the PS CC 512mb requirements, I bought a 2010 15`macbook pro for school to lean coding and graphic design.

I bought a old computer in-case it got stolen so I wasn`t upset over a $3000 computer.

Now after reading many forums from 2012 I wanted to know has anyone created a fix to trick Photoshop yet to allow the 3D features.

I know in the Windows community someone would have a fix or created a new file etc.

I thought I would ask before I start looking for another new computer 2013 or newer machine.

thanks

It depends on the exact model you have. Some will increase the shared ram to 512mb when you up the system ram to 8gb

Unfortunately it's only igpu machines not dgpu that share ram

It's funny it's 288mb now.

Thanks for your help, I can still use the machine for coding so it's not a complete loss, paid around $600.

Before I go do you know any apple sites where members might know how to fool code:).
