How are the phones coming out of the box this year, other than the infamous yellow tint?

Any chips/nicks/dents etc. out of the box? Sharp edges? Any phones ever so slightly curved/bent out of the box like many of the X/Xs were? I know I saw plenty of X/Xs display models that were ever so slightly bent when looking down the long edge of the steel bands at a 10-15 degree angle, and my wife's Xs is the same way...looking at several display models last night of the 11 Pro, they looked straight, so hopefully they fixed that.

Any cosmetic issues or does Apple have it (mostly) together this year? Playing QC lottery is no fun.

I haven't noticed any issues other than the yellow screen. It's cosmetically perfect, though my box was slightly dented.

One thing I noticed right outside of the box is that my midnight green pro Max as deep veining lines in the matte glass. You can only see it if you hold the phone at an angle. It’s not like a crack just a variance in the glass. Looks like scuff marks under the surface. Very annoying! I keep a case on it so I won’t return but it was quite a letdown when I unboxed.

My iPhone 11 Pro came with 2 hairline scratches out of the box and i returned it to the apple store the next morning for a replacement. I'm very glad the apple store had the iPhone 11 Pro configuration that i wanted in stock. the replacement is flawless.

Me too, that would be an instant return for me.
Yes, something like that is definitely an instant return for me as it's definitely stands out and I'm sure that stood out really quickly without any inspection upon unboxing.

Nothing major on mine compared to the XS models. There is just one tiny spec under the matte glass but hardly
Noticeable to want to deal with exchanging.

I made adjustments so that it's less yellow now, but when I had it next to my xs max, it had a warmer tone, with both on the same settings.

Yep, I observed the same thing between the 11 Pro max vs XS Max.

I also noticed that the pro max has bigger bezels around the screen while still maintaining the same screen size from the previous gen.

This happens every year. There never will be a perfect iPhone, the majority of consumers don’t look for defects unless the defect stand out to them. Just enjoy the iPhone for what it is, and if there is a problem, Apples exceptional customer service will address it.

My 11 Pro midnight green is perfect, no defects at all and no yellow screen tint. My only complaint is it's not very green.
