I've had 2 of the latest 27" BTO iMac's, the first i returned after realising i needed more storage.

The first had a constant high frequency cracking sound emanating from the bottom left of the bezel.

The second didn't have this but is has an intermittent high frequency crackle but only on the first and second bar of brightness. Possibly the third but as you go up in brightness the occurrences diminishes to nothing.

I figured it must be something to do with the PSU / power transformer giving power to the LED array. As my LED tv's do this i think its to be expected.

Just wondered if anyone else had noticed it? It is very faint but noticeable in quiet environments.
