Any DD-WRT users here?

I just made the jump to dd-wrt and realized that its slowed down the wifi internet on my iPhone. I'm convinced that my settings on the dd-wrt control center (192.168.1.1) are causing this.

I'm currently using a wide band 40mhz on channel 8. Wifi seems to hang then disconnect on any setting so is there anything that I can adjust within the Advanced Settings to optimize performance?

check their forums for your specific model. several routers had wifi bugs with the firmware on the front page that provided weak signal.

i've used dd-wrt on wrt54gl, and had issues before i flashed to a newer version. see example: http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=52043

Am using ddwrt on buffalo router. I did not notice any diff between stock firmware and ddwrt.

Ended up flashing back to manufacturers firmware...so much better
