hi, i was just wondering, is there any diff btw the utd dvd leopard disc compared to the full retail version? for instance can i do a full clean install with the utd disc? thanks in advance

If it's anything like Jaguar, Panther and Tiger, the Leopard up-to-date disc will require a valid installation of the previous system, (in this case, Tiger) before it'll run. So yes, there is a difference...

thanks, this is my first mac so i had no idea.

I used Disk Utility to merge my two partitions back into one so that I could use Boot Camp without any hacks. I was able to successfully install 10.5 using my UTD disc so I guess the poster above is incorrect.

The UTD disc checks for an installation of 10.4 before continuing. After that, its the same thing.
