Any digital painter / illustrator invested in a Mac Mini M1 setup?

I am in a search for reviews or experiences from an illustrator / digital artist perspective with the M1 processor. I am thinking about to upgrade from my 5y old PC to a Mac mini M1 16gb. But maybe the 8GB will do fine in 2D programs like Photoshop and Illustrator. Even with bigger files. There is not much to find on YouTube tho. It is all about video editors etc. I hope someone can share me some wisdom!
