T-Mobile sells the phone for $629. I don't know if you have to sign up for service on the spot though.

You can usually get them a bit cheaper on eBay brand new.

Apple started doing that back to school promo, iPhones included. Buy an iPhone at Apple for full price, get the $50 itunes card, sell the card, and get some money back.

Other eBay would be another option.
