Any easy way to get back to an old version of an app?

I'd like to revert back to some older versions of a few apps that weren't full of video ads. Sigh.

The only way I know how to do this is to restore an old backup, which will take a day out of my life. Is there a better way?

Nope. There is no other way.

Try using itools or another program that can access iphone backups and you should be able to export the apps ipa file from there then import it onto your device.

In future try to remember to save your faveorite apps ipa file on your computer just incase of a crap update.

If you sync with a Mac and have a Time Machine backup, you could do that.

I only update my apps from my phone, and then only sync with iTunes once a week or so. That gives me about a week to revert to the previous version. But as was already stated, a backup of iTunes is a good way to go.
