I used to use senuti to transfer my music right back into my itunes after i would reload the operating system. But i sold my ipod. When i get my mbp. Is there another way to get my music onto my laptop in the right playlists and everything? I have a external h.d to put the music onto. i guess if i had to, i could borrow someones ipod to use senuti if that was the old option.

thanks
thomas

Just back up your entire iTunes folder including the library database files. Copy them back when you are done and all playlist and playcounts will be restored

Buy a $10 firewire cord and use Firewire Target Mode.

Plug one end into your iBook and the other into you MBP. Turn on the iBook and hold down the T button, a firewire logo will show up on the iBook. On your MBP your iBook's hard drive will show up. Then copy what ever files you want over to your new computer. Or easier, use the migrate app.
