Any Experience of Commercial Unlock / Jailbreak Apps?

There are a number of sites offering 'one-click' UL / JB apps for around $30.

The convenience (auto SHSH saving, JB updates) would appeal to me, if they worked. However, searching on here and googling turned up nothing decisive, which makes me suspicious.

Anyone got any experience with them?
