I'm currently running Vista Ultimate using Bootcamp on my Macbook Pro(Parallels was a nightmare experience for me). I'm thinking about purchasing a Lexar 8 or 16 GB ExpressCard External Solid state disk to save my MS Office documents and other common files to so I can easily share my documents between the Mac OS and Vista. I only have read privilages for my Vista files when I'm in the Mac OS, so I want something that will work like a thumbdrive for my files so I can access them from either OS with ease.

Does anyone have any experience doing something like this? Will it work the way that I think it will, or will I have to jump through any hoops to access the files that I save onto the ExpressCard SSD? Even more important, will doing this cause Boot Camp or Vista to crash and burn? Sorry I have to ask, I'm a student and am seeking reliability.

Thank you! :)
