Any experience with "New" iBook off ebay?

This guy is selling a "new" iBook for $899 with a $100 mail in rebate. Anybody have any prior experience with buying a new machine off ebay? Do you think it is legit? I apprieciate any help you might have.

Don't know, but if you are unsure of that seller then go to the Apple Refurb store. They have them for $799 as of this moment (1/25/06 4:05 pm CST).

I would pay the $999 with $100 mail in rebate off amazon just to be safe. Or buy a refurb from apple.

It doesnt seem worth the very possible headaches. I saw the same thing and ignored it. I have opted for an apple refurb. You have to get to them as early in the day as you can. They go fast.
