My new MBP (late 08) CPU temps gets up to ~75 degrees celsius during gaming in XP & ~63 just surfing/msn chatting.

I am wondering if anybody knows if a new fan controller (like the previous SMC) one is out for the new MBP yet?

or Am i better off getting a cooling pad? Any recommendations for my 15" MBP?

Thanks

What game are you playing?

When I play Fallout 3 the computer's fan is on the highest and I feel so bad for my computer. my left palm leaves sweat marks on the pad. After playing 3 hours and even keeping the notebook elevated on a 2 inch ring binder the computer gets way too hot. First it starts from the top left then eventually the heat goes to the hdd and battery. I had to stop playing because I was fearful it would over heat.

I was looking into cool pads to be used on the desk and not on a lap. couldn't find great information. I kinda wish i got fallout 3 on the ps3 now to save my late macbook pro from accelerated wear.
