I recently got into fishing and wondered if anyone here fishes as well.

What rod/reel do you use?
I use a Sedona 2500FD reel and an UglyStick medium action rod
I use 10lbs Trilene line

What do you usually fish for?
Around my parts, bass always.

Whats your favorite baits to use?
I love Gary Yamamoto worms. Watermelon/Pumpkin Seed
Various KVD Strike King and Boo-Yah spinner baits
Zoom Brush hog in Pumpkin Seed

What sunglasses do you use?
I have to have RX lenses and I'm pulling the trigger soon. Too bad Costa RXs are about $500. Looking at the Double Hauls.

Whats your biggest catch?
Surprisingly, mine is a 7lbs catfish but that was long ago before I really got into fishing.
Biggest bass is like 3-3.5lbs

One of my friends loves fishing very much. Every weekend, he goes fishing, though sometimes he get nothing. maybe fishing can make him calm, I think

I find live bait (nightcrawlers, crayfish, etc.) works best for bass fishing.

I used to fish quite a bit but have 2 kids now and don't get too much anymore. I live near the Suwannee River in Florida so I normally fish for largemouth bass, Suwannee bass, or red bellies (redbreast sunfish).

Only at heart. I have treasured memories of trolling for blues off Cape Lookout with the old man. Didn't have to catch a thing, it was still priceless.

My interest has been in fly fishing more than any other method lately. I find it really relaxing and rewarding due to how much skill it truly takes. I'm an Orvis kind of guy, and enjoy their fly fishing products.
