Any fix for audio in Safari/Youtube?

I always watch YouTube at 150-200% speed and since Safari got that speaker ikon and the ability to mute audio the audio quality is awful in Safari when watching videos at high speed. They sound like distorted robots..

Is there anyway to fix this?

Everything still works ok in Chrome.
But Chrome kills the battery..
