Any free stuff at new Apple Store openings?

Is there any point to queuing for the opening day event at an Apple Store? Do they give away vouchers/ freebies? Since we are going to have a new one in London, we thought it might be worth it going there early. Thanks guys. Toby.

Usually a t-shirt and a raffle. Perhaps there have been reports of little gift bags of sorts.
