okay according to FAQ's i was wondering if any MR members have achieved the title of a G5 yet? (G5 => 30,000 posts)

if not anybody a G3, or G4???

Note that top-poster mad jew's title is "Demi-God (Moderator)" since he's a forum moderator. Otherwise, you'd see his processor-based status. It's the same for the other moderators and administrators, many of whom have high post counts after years of participation.

SWEET!

So judging up on the current stats, 35,000+ posts will get you an intel. right?

come on ~Shard~ you're so close to being a "G". :)

That's a lot of posts.

Thats a LOT of time posting too!

Example:
mad jew
Demi-God (Moderator)
Apr 3, 2004
32,208

say it takes an average of 2 minutes to respond or begin a thread.
that means mad jew spent 44.73 days creating/responding to all these posts.
granted that has been nearly 4.5 years, but DAMN!!! thats some dedication.

(i hope my math is right:))

edit: Doctor Q- remind again me what is the square root of infinity? :) :) :)

What a coincidence! I was just working that out on my calculator!

The answer is a number with 12,978,189 digits.

Oh wait, no, that's not the square root of infinity. That's the newly discovered largest Mersenne prime. That means it is a number of the form (2^n)-1, in this case for n=43,112,609, with no divisors other than 1 and itself. There are now 46 known Mersenne primes.

See video. It's prime-time viewing! :D

It I had to guess after G5 it should be Core, then Core 2…

Yeah the bot.

How does somebody have 32k+ posts in 4 years?

I mean good greif lol.

I'll be able to pass madjew in what 8 years? :p

If you want to see what crazy is check this guy's post count:
http://howardforums.com/member.php?u=30949'

EDIT: I guess if you're not logged in you can't see, so it's: Total Posts: 75,488 (38.37 posts per day)

What's more surprising is that the majority of those actually helped people who had problems with their computers.
Back in their posting prime you'd see Forum Spy loaded up with first response help for almost any question.

I guess I've taken that up now.

HA! looks like you made it to 250..:D

haha, I did as a matter of fact, took this long and I've been meaning to creep my way over the top now so I can check out the classifieds to pick up a powerbook, the whole 250 thing was kind of a bummer since I had a couple good transaction on there, oh well, all for the better I'm sure :)
