Any games like Animal Crossing on the Mac?

Don't laugh...I recently started playing Animal Crossing, and forgot how much I just enjoyed that silly little game. I started wondering if there were any games like it on the Mac...coincidentally, I saw the article about the Kickstarter for "Garden Paws" which is an Animal Crossing homage, in development for PC & Mac. Anybody have any other recommendations for Mac games that are like Animal Crossing?

You can try Stardew Valley

As stated above, Stardew Valley, best of the two worlds (Animal Crossing / Harvest Moon). Highly addictive

Thanks, but, not a big fan of farming...looking for something like that, but...without the farming! I'm hoping for more of an emphasis on exploring...
