So, I'm a musician and am looking to record my performances. I am very recording savvy and understand I cannot get CD quality recordings, but I want good enough material to at least listen to so I can continue to improve as a musician. I play trumpet (which is VERY dynamic) so the Voice Memos program/built-in mic is no good because it clips EVERYTHING!!! I own a Belkin TuneTalk which is a stereo mic with the standard 13-pin iPod connector. It works GREAT on my iPod Video and I've recorded 100's of times with it but it doesn't work on the iPhone
