Any good cheap side protectors?

I am looking for a protector to put over the side of my iPhone 4 over the antenna band. I want to keep using an otterbox impact series with it, but I think it is scratching it, so I might switch to some other kind if case. Does the otterbox defender let dirt in to scratch? Thanks
