Other Any good comparisons of Pro telephoto vs Base zoomed in?

I’m heavily debating 17 vs 17 Pro and for me the telephoto is the ONLY thing still having me seriously lean towards the Pro.

I know the 17 Pro is improved and also now 48MP, but I wonder if there are any comparisons from previous versions? Of the Pro model telephoto photo/video, vs the Base zoomed in to 5x for the same photo/video?

I obviously expect a difference, but I’m also curious just how big it is

We will have to wait for reviews I'm afraid. But also keep in mind that the 1x on the base 17 is also as good as the one on the Pro. The 1x camera on the base model has a smaller sensor than the one on the Pro. So, you would be taking a 4x digital zoom from a smaller sensor and comparing it to an optical zoom. I would be surprised if that works out in favor of the regular 17 (in fact, I would return my Pro if it did).

I think there were some reviews last year that looked at what 4x digital zoom looked like on the 16 Pro (because there was that big gap between 1x and 5x zoom options). I don't think it was very good, and that was with the larger 1x sensor.
