Any good/recognised online courses in User Interfaces?

Hey guys.

I'm a doctor in the UK and I'm looking to get into medical tech, specifically software and how it can be used to improve the efficiency of doctors.

I don't have any experience in programming but I have a strong interest in user interface design and I was thinking I could take an online course in this to better make myself useful.

Does anyone know of any good user interface courses you can take online, that are well recognised by employers etc?

I don't know about "certifications" so to speak, but there's hundreds of outstanding UI/UX resources online, from blogs and "how to" sites, to more formalized training at sites like lynda.com and coursera.org

It's a mix of art, design, science and technical execution to create a really solid user experience - not to mention, carrying that experience across multiple platforms (web, web-mobile, native-mobile), and dealing with very technical concerns that affect the UX like performance/responsiveness.
