Any hope for search functionality in the iPod app?

I just realised that i have a significant amount of songs on my iPhone and having to scroll gets old quickly. Thinking about it i'm quite surprised that search never made it into the iPod app like it did contacts. Is it possible this will happen in the future?

they should have one, they have one in the remote app

I think it is extremely likely we'll see it soon. I only say that because of the search feature in the 'Remote' app that Apple released. People might try and argue my reasoning ("people have way more music on their computers than their iPhones") but they'd be kidding themselves.

Side note...I also think Spotlight will be coming to the iPhone, but not for a while.
