Any idea's for getting an early upgrade?

Any ideas for getting at&t to give me an early upgrade for the subsidized price? I'm currently a customer but i'm not eligible for an upgrade for another two months 9/9/08, i'd rather not wait for two months considering my partner is going to buy one right away. any ideas?

My friend just got his early upgrade but he was only a month away from the upgrade date and AT&T granted him the early upgrade. It doesnt hurt to call and find out.

I went in the other day and they said that because a manager wasn't there they couldn't give me an answer and that i should return on launch day. I also tried getting them to do it based on the fact that i'd be paying more for another two months and that we would be signing another iphone contract at the same time (permitted that they would give me the upgrade) So should I just go in tomorrow and see whats what?
