Any ideas how to fix Telegram on new 7 series?

Hi all, Merry Christmas!
My wife got a Series 7 for Christmas and Telegram loaded as an app but doesn't work.
It starts to open then immediately shuts down.

We're completely new to Apple Watch and if anyone can help out (we probably doing something wrong!) it would be greatly appreciated!

Did you setup the watch as new?! Guessing so since you’re saying you’re new to the Apple Watch thing. This sounds like a bug with the telegram app rather than anything else. All I can suggest is an uninstall and reinstall of the app.

Maybe a reboot of the Watch will help.... otherwise it probably is an issue with the Telegram app itself

We tried that and it doesn't work - got in touch with telegram voluntary support so will see what comes back.
