Any information on apple announcement this month

Am i mistaken in thinking that apple was supposed to have a convention or at least a meeting releasing 5.0 ios this month?

I was searching for some info regarding it and couldnt find any details...

the event hasnt happened yet and there is no guarantee it will be this month. Apple will hold then event when they are ready.
