iPad Any iPads ship yet?

Do all launch day iPads ship at once or at different times? Has anyone got a tracking number?

I am betting the status will not change till this weekend. They must be stateside already as there is no way they are in China and going to be delivered on Monday!

My iPad air order status just changed to "preparing for shipment".

I could have easily gone to an apple store to grab one, however Id rather not wait in the store for an hour and deal with the crowds!

Still preparing for dispatch but order quotes Tuesday delivery. I guess it'll be dispatched at some point. There's probably multiple shipments heading for different parts of the country which are slowly being dispatched one by one.

I bet FedEx got a huge contract to deliver a couple million U.S. iPads over the weekend. I suppose it's not that unusual but this time deliveries are on Monday instead of the usual Friday.

Ordered from Apple website for home delivery at 12:10am with 11/4/13 indicated as the delivery date. The order status just now changed from "Processing" to "Preparing for Shipment."

My Experience

My order was initiated thru the Apple WS @ 0202 on 1Nov. w/ an order confirmation received from Apple @ 0205.

It is coming to TX from Nashville & delivered here NLT 1500CST on Mon.

HTH & might I suggest being somewhat patient as FedEx/Apple have this down to a fine art by now.

Don't worry... they will. They always do.

I suspect Apple has special agreements with the carriers so they'll continue to move shipments late into tonight and throughout the weekend.

FedEx and UPS still move packages on Saturday. Then you also have Monday morning( past midnight) as well.

Well it's definitely been more than 24 hours and mine still hasn't dispatched. But my delivery is Tuesday so I know I should be getting it on Tuesday anyway.

My iPad shows preparing for shipment. My iPad smart case already shipped, with a delivery date of Wednesday. I cannot see how it could possibly arrive on Wednesday considering it is shipping from Mira Loma, CA and I am in San Diego, CA. That is a hour and forty minutes by car. They'd have to make special arrangements for it to sit around on a dock somewhere for it to take until Wednesday.
