The person I hired to master my last CD wants to rent my IPad Pro for four hours to create a video on using IPad Pro with Logic X.

Apart from the obvious need of adding a new fingerprint, are there any issues I should be worried about relating to pairing the IPP with another computer? (I not concerned about unauthorized purchases on Apple store.)

What do you mean "pairing" with another computer? Do you mean sync with iTunes? I can't imagine why he would need to do that. There are other ways to transfer files in and out of iPads besides going through iTunes.

Edit: on second thought, you are talking about using Logic Remote to connect to Logic Pro on a Mac? Well, that "pairing" is on app-level only, so it shouldn't affect any other iPad apps or functions. And it sounds easy enough to connect Logic Remote to multiple Macs and switch at will.

Under Get Started, there's a section on how to switch to another Mac.
